Jana Bouchard, Treasurer
Basalt
 
Longtime local resident, since 1983, Jana has seen many changes to the valley. She grew up in Fairfield CT, and attend the University of Connecticut in Storrs, CT. Her travels lead her to Aspen and she built her cabin on Basalt Mountain. Jana has made a career in business and with her accounting and bookkeeping skills she has acquired a working knowledge of retail, costs of goods sold, payroll, AP, AR, quarterly tax forms, and preperation of tax return info. She has been employed with Schlumberger Construction for the past 26 years. She is the perfect candidate to oversee the duties of Treasurer with her vast skills and business accomplishments.

Aimee Sheeber-Knight
Aspen
Born in the Big Apple Aimee has been a Valley resident for the past 20 years.  Raising a five year old daughter with her husband, Eric “the doughboy” Knight, Aimee can see the benefit of the BTS Mission and both its agricultural and sustainable impact on our community and our children. 
 
 
Aimee is a verb and we are happy to have her energy on the board and in the store.  She owns “Sugar Sweet” clothing with stores in Aspen and Glenwood Springs.  Aimee also serves on the Chabad Aspen Board of Directors.  Eric is the director of the Freestyle Team at the Aspen Valley Ski Club.
 
 
Aimee’s experience with boards and business plus her indomitable spirit make her an ideal member for the Basalt Thrift Store. 
 
 
Thomas Jones II,
Snowmass Village, CO
 
 
Thomas H. Jones II graduated from Case Western School of Law and has practiced internal law in the U.S. and the Netherlands since 1983.  He has recently moved back to the area from Holland and now devotes his time to charitable foundations and organizations.
 
 
Gregory Duclos, Secretary
Basalt, Colorado
 
Gregory Duclos grew up in Enfield Connecticut. He attended Fitchburg State College in Massachusetts from 2000 to 2004 and earned his BS in Business Management Science and earned a minor in Leadership Science. During college he was active in Sigma Pi Fraternity and the student government with service work and activities while balancing academics earning a 3.72 GPA. Named into the Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities in 2003 he continued service work with Habitat for Humanity during his senior year and enjoyed building a significant part of a house in North Carolina with a group of college friends. Since 2007 he has worked for Mountain Draft Inc which is based out of Dillon Colorado. He currently maintains over 90% of the draft beer equipment throughout the Aspen valley.
 
 
Greg is dedicated to growing three gardens this year. Two will be in community gardens in Basalt and one at his home. This spring Greg will be volunteering to help Jerome with his home greenhouse and the construction of the Aspen School Garden which will feature a solar powered heated geodesic Grow Dome for year round use. Greg is also interested in all current gardening projects in the valley as well as starting large long term community gardens in the mid valley area during the next few years.
 
 
Steve Jundt, Board Chairman
Basalt, Colorado
 
Steve has a twenty-five year background in sales, sales management, property management, and sales training.  Steve is the owner and managing broker of Creekside Realty, Carbondale, Colorado.
Steve is a published author of fiction.  He is adept at business writing and planning and is computer literate handling all aspects of document and creative needs that arise at the thrift store.
Steve has been active in many aspects of community service since moving to the Roaring Fork Valley in 2001, ranging from volunteer work with the Carbondale Clay Center, the annual Carbondale Mountain Fair, and KDNK’s annual Blues & Brews Fest to name a few.
 
 
Jullia Lynn Pratt, Executive Director
Basalt, Colorado
  
Jullia is a retired associate architect who was schooled in California and Paris.  Her business, A.J. Pratt & Associates, was involved in numerous private and commercial projects including the redevelopment of Lower Downtown (Lo-Do) in Denver. 
 
She grew up with an enthusiasm for the Thrift Store Model and has a strong background both in the understanding of thrift store merchandising and volunteer coordination.  Locally, Jullia has been active with the Battle of the Bands and has brought them success with her fund raising and donation efforts for their annual silent auction in Basalt. 
 
Jullia’s passion for holistic healing and biochemistry spans 3 decades.  She has studied with the Yaqui Indians, Dr. Bernard Jensen, Master Herbalist, John Heinerman, and Boulder’s own Dr. Hanna Kruger.  Jullia has been a volunteer at the Aspen Thrift Shop and has the motivation and work ethic to contribute strongly to the Basalt Thrift Store.  Her vision and ideas for year round greenhouses and sustainable education blend perfectly with the Basalt Thrift Store’s mission statement. 
 
Jullia has received numerous accolades for her involvement with the “Parade of Homes” and “Show Home for Hope”.  Jullia has been active for the last decade in the valley with many community service projects.
