BTS Friends
Our greatest treasure are the people who visit our showroom. Some are volunteers, others shoppers, and still others who walk in with their own special and magical contribution to our daily efforts. This is a page we will update often and with enthusiasm. Thanks to each of you for what you bring to our day.
Giselle, a special young lady,
and she's draped from head to
toe in BTS fashion. Stunning !!!

BTS favorite friend and cranial stimulator as well as renowned Aspen Ski Instructor,
Cary Thompson, showing his latest BTS purchase. Carey's
harmonic approach to skiing will so simplify your learning experience that your immediate confidence will have you shooshing down the local slopes in a fashion that truly astounds. Begin with Cary by visiting his website
Ride in Harmony.

The great smile belongs to
Micky A. Hohl LPC, a local therapist and terrific friend.
Micky is a unique BTS
shopper. She buys a bundle from the store, wears it for a few weeks and than donates
clothing back to us before starting the cycle all over again.
Her closet stays at the same capacity and the store makes
out like a bandit.
Micky, Thanks for the
great support!

Yeah, we completely understand the double-take with this one.
Hint: If your're in Basalt and need a copy made, who do you go to see?
That's right, Van-Van the Copy Man.
Real Name: Van Sea from Raymond's
Van paid us a visit in his pre-Holloween attire, scared the wits out of everyone shopping who was under 40!
(But hey . . . BTS clothes again!)

Our lovely volunteer,
Anita Seedorf, is a native of
London, England. Anita and her architect husband,
Rich, have lived in the Aspen area for the past 18
years.
Anita has been a professional concierge and brings
marvelous energy to the store each week. Her accent will give her away when you visit and her professional courtesy and insightful assistance with keep you coming back.
The parents of two children, Anita and Rich are about to celebrate the wedding of their son this December in Aspen.
More BTS fashion from our hard working volunteer,
Anette Stenstadvold. Anette began volunteering early on for the cause and still gives time between her busy sophmore year at Basalt High School.
She just finished track for the year and enjoys sunsets, wilderness hiking, and reading.
If we could clone her we would!

This smart young man is Cole. Cole is a hard
bargainer and a very astute shopper. His mom is Elissa Lue Robson, chef at "Fresh" the organic catering company in Aspen.
You have to check out the Fresh website, the menu is amazing and it's all "live" food!
Bonnie & Joseph Kowar pictured with 2 of their 3 beautiful kids. The solid cherry bunk bed behind them is now a part of their home. Joe is the CPA/ATTY that the Basalt Thrift Store relies on for all accounting and legal opinions. Bonnie is one of our favorite friends and shoppers. She is a wiz at home and office organization so look for Bonnie to open a business that will help you get your space used right and even have some left over!
One or our most incredible volunteers, Phyllis, you can find her on any given Tuesday brightening up our store!
Two friends in thrift attire

This is Molly Gallaher, our youngest volunteer at the store. However, she is also the hardest working of the group. Jullia has taken her on as a valued assistant.
lula Chapman and Kate Giampapa Strike a pose on a Thrift Store sectional sofa.
Lula is definately considering this dress for the annual "Burning Man" Festival
and Kate is mirroring her mom in
circa 1975 colorful sensation!
